4 Days Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari
This 4 Days Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari takes you to Kenya's two most popular wildlife destinations — Maasai Mara National Reserve and Lake Naivasha — with opportunities to see the Big Five (lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants), flamingoes, and much more.
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel after breakfast or at the airport at 7:00 am and journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve via the spectacular Great Rift Valley with a stop at the escarpment viewpoint en-route. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, enjoy a short rest and in the late afternoon go for a game drive. Maasai Mara is world-famous for the Big Five and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration — present from July to October — where close to two million wildebeests and thousands of zebras and gazelles move in search of water and green pasture. During the drive you will see impalas, buffaloes, Thomson's gazelles, zebras and herds of elephants. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Jambo Mara Safari Lodge. Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve Exploration
Start with an early breakfast and head out for a morning game drive from 06:30 am to 08:30 am — the perfect time to spot lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles and antelopes. Return to your lodge for a full lunch, then return to the Mara for an afternoon game drive with more sightings of lions, leopards, wildebeests, elands and several colourful birds. Late in the afternoon visit a Maasai Village for a cultural experience — local dances and drama, interaction with the elders, and a taste of local dishes. Accommodation: Jambo Mara Safari Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then check out and depart Maasai Mara for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise on the beautiful Lake Naivasha where you will see flocks of pink flamingoes, hippos and Nile crocodiles on the water, and giraffes, zebras, warthogs and elands on a guided walk on Crescent Island. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then check out and leave Lake Naivasha for Nairobi. You will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or at your hotel, bringing your safari to an end.
