THE EXPEDITION
This 4-day adventure covers Kenya's two most popular wildlife areas — Maasai Mara National Reserve and the Great Rift Valley's Lake Naivasha. Day 1 departs Nairobi via the scenic Rift Valley escarpment for Maasai Mara, arriving for an afternoon game drive. Day 2 is dedicated to full Mara exploration with a morning and afternoon game drive plus an evening Maasai Village cultural experience. Day 3 moves to Lake Naivasha for a boat cruise among pink flamingoes, hippos, and giraffes on Crescent Island. Day 4 returns to Nairobi. The Big Five are present in the Mara year-round, with the Great Wildebeest Migration spectacle running July to October. Accommodation at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
