Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Driver-Guide and start your journey to Samburu National Park driving through the Kenya highlands with views of tea, coffee and farmlands. Have a stop at Karatina Market the biggest in East Africa, proceed north across the Equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving in afternoon for lunch. Later go for a game drive giving you a proper introduction to Samburu National Reserve. Accommodation: Sentrim Samburu Camp. Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

Spend a full day in Samburu National Park on an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu National Park is a beautiful game reserve hosting large concentrations of wildlife along the Ewaso Nyiro River which is the lifeline of this semi-desert environment, home to rarely found species such as Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, blue-necked Somali Ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional visit to a local Samburu Village for a cultural experience, camel riding and guided nature walks and bird walks. Accommodation: Sentrim Samburu Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After an early breakfast, depart and drive to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya and Laikipia Region where the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is found. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, and in the afternoon go for a game drive in the Sweetwaters Game Reserve, including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary – the only place in Kenya overlooking a floodlit waterhole, offering visitors the opportunity to watch and photograph several animals in their natural habitat. Also visit Morani – the tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre. Overnight at Sweetwater Tented Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy breakfast and bid farewell to Ol Pejeta Conservancy with an en-route game drive, heading down to the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park with a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and in the afternoon go on a game drive on which you will see herds of buffaloes, black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, leopards and large flocks of flamingoes on the shores of Lake Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at Ziwa Bush Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Wake up early for breakfast and head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive as you leave the park and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve with stops at several scenic viewpoints. Arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch and a short rest at the lodge, then in the afternoon go for a game drive giving you a thrilling introduction to the game-filled Masai Mara. Overnight at Mara Sentrim Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Spend a full day in Masai Mara National Reserve with a full day game drive. The iconic Masai Mara hosts the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals of any wildlife park in the region. The reserve's scenic appeal of tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species make it an incredible one-stop destination for game viewing including the Big Five – lion, leopard, cape buffalo, elephants and rhinos. During the game drive you will also visit the Mara River where you will watch hippos and crocodiles, or perhaps witness the Great Migration (July–October). Overnight at Mara Sentrim Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 7: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Masai Mara. Later depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise on the beautiful Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island for close encounters with several wildlife species including giraffes, elands, warthogs and several bird species. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon head out for a game drive exploring Amboseli and spotting several wildlife species including lions, herds of elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and giraffes among others. At sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Overnight at Amboseli Mara Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park

Spend a full day in Amboseli National Park. Wake up early for a pre-breakfast game drive at 6:30 am, offering you the best chance to see the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro and several wildlife species including predators such as lions, cheetahs and African wild dogs. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and midday rest. Return to the park in the afternoon for a further game drive until sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Overnight at AA Amboseli Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, exit the park with an en-route game drive in Amboseli where you will see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions and the beautiful scenery of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will have lunch in Nairobi and be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or at your hotel in Nairobi. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
