Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
On landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your driver-guide from Brotherhood Tours & Travel for a briefing about the safari. Set off on an approximately 4-hour journey to Amboseli National Park enjoying scenic views of the changing landscape. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge after check-in, then head out for a game drive exploring Amboseli. With your experienced ranger-guide you will see lions, herds of elephants, warthogs, towering giraffes, several bird species, and the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. At sunset, drive back to your lodge for a campfire where you will interact with fellow visitors about the day's discoveries, then dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi
Wake early, have a cup of coffee and drive to Amboseli National Park for an early morning game drive. Enjoy exhilarating encounters with predators returning from their overnight hunts — cheetahs and lions — and watch the beautiful sunrise over the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro for perfect photos. During the drive you will also see African wild dogs, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, warthogs, elands, gazelles, cheetahs, zebras, and several bird species including pink flamingoes on the shores of Lake Amboseli (during the wet season), helmeted Guineafowl, grey crowned crane and great white pelicans. After the game drive return to your lodge for a full breakfast, then check out and embark on a journey back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
