THE EXPEDITION
This short, curated safari tracks three of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife encounters — the prehistoric Shoebill Stork, wild chimpanzees, and mountain gorillas. Day 1 is arrival in Entebbe. Day 2 explores Mabamba Wetland by motorized canoe, searching for the rare Shoebill Stork in its swampy habitat. Day 3 transfers to Kibale Forest with an afternoon Bigodi Swamp Walk among primates. Day 4 brings full chimpanzee trekking in Kibale before driving to Bwindi. Day 5 is the gorilla trekking highlight — one magical hour with an endangered mountain gorilla family deep in Bwindi's jungle. Day 6 is departure.
