This primate fly-in safari is designed for travellers who want maximum time with Africa's great apes and minimum time on the road, using domestic flights to move between Kibale Forest and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Day 1 is arrival in Entebbe. Day 2 flies to Kibale via Kasese Airstrip for an afternoon Bigodi Swamp Walk. Day 3 brings full chimpanzee trekking in Kibale. Day 4 flies south to Bwindi via Kihihi Airstrip, with an afternoon transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Day 5 is gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Day 6 is a relaxing leisure day on Lake Bunyonyi — Uganda's deepest lake — with an optional boat cruise to the island communities. Day 7 flies back to Entebbe. Includes AMREF Flying Doctors emergency cover, all park permits, and accommodation at Primate Lodge, Buhoma Lodge, and Arcadia Lodge.
